While the search for good maternity outer wear and in particular dresses and going-out attire proved to be a complete failure...lingerie is a different story~
My favourite so far is this website called HotMilk (http://www.hotmilklingerie.com/)...I've bought 2 from them so far (having a lack of asset in that department pre-pregnancy meant that all my existing bras included under-wires, not suitable for the last trimester of pregnancy I was told!). A pretty in pink number and a very practical (but omg sooo comfortable) black My Necessity sleep/hospital bra....seriously the most comfortable (and not ugly) bra there is! :)
So yes...highly recommended for all the hot new mums-to-be out there! :)
You can't own all the pretty things in the world, but you can certainly blog about them all! My online indulgence of the year: http://www.ozsale.com.au/signup.aspx?invitedBy=Angie.Teng

Maternity Dresses or NOT~
I've discovered the secret to getting nice maternity dresses...DON'T buy anything that even mentions the word "maternity"....all these websites and stores talking about women who is designing and/or have found the perfect maternity wear line are just kidding themselves. It's almost like an unspoken rule - slap the word "maternity" in front of the word "dress" and 90% of the time you'll end up with something grandma would wear.
Instead, it works better to find something in "normal" wear that fits your specific growing body~ In my case? No pants (even maternity pants feel uncomfortable for me), go for dresses (lucky it's warmer days!), NO ZIPPERS (every size I buy stops fitting within 2-3 weeks), have sleeves (all the baby fat seems to go straight to my arms, why!?!) and a bit of length (my normal short dresses have now become tops in the front thanks to a growing bump).
Found this GORGEOUS pink/purple/gold metallic detail V-neck dress from OzSale...price tag $19~ perfect for a Summer pregnancy bod!
Say nooo to so-called, over-priced maternity dresses~ and yes to cool pretty ones from all over the place...I mean...there's supposed to be clothes that fits every body out there right?! ;p

Back to Blog - I hope!
It has certainly been a whirlwind half year since my last blog post in April...Gold Coast hopping with sis, Tasmania trip with mates, Hawaii holiday with the boy, engagement, new house and...BABY on the way~ I now know why so many celebrities join the infamous 27 club~ the year of being 28 can be so much stress!
Having life "dramas" certainly didn't mean lack of shopping though, au contraire~ my wardrobe (and in fact, my entire new home) has been bustling with my shopping). Personally, I think I am scaring the boy a little bit :p
But as enjoyable as the experience may have been, blogging about buying a fridge and a cupboard can get pretty boring. So let's bypass that and get to the "important" stuff :)
QUILT SHOPPING~
