Face it, 5 days out of 7 u have to see the same bunch of people for approx 8 hours a day. Such is the life of the OL that the challenge lies in refreshing that wardrobe on multiple constraints.
So, here is another staple for the OL look. Another purchase from myer: this tokito dress retails for $80 but was bought during the 25% off sale.
You can't own all the pretty things in the world, but you can certainly blog about them all! My online indulgence of the year: http://www.ozsale.com.au/signup.aspx?invitedBy=Angie.Teng

Skinny jeans + first iPhone posting
So blogger has an iPhone app?!?! This is too exciting in itself!!!
But more exciting is today's acquirement of the much anticipated skinny jeans. The reasons being 1) I don't have and really want a pair and 2) I've actually outgrown my old "fave pair" of bootleg jeans. So here it is! Purchased at myer, brand is guess, and size is, wait for it! One smaller than usual!!! Yay!!!

Free Pink Tote!
It's VS again, and this time, most of the purchases are basics (nudes, blacks, strapless) and not quite worth blogging about. Altho free with a set of 2 for $32 basic bras came this cute pink tote! And I must say it's definitely the favourite buy out of this lot :)

Proud to be Asian
Now being Chinese Australian have its perks...you speak the language of more people in this world than you really care to count for one.
And for another? Not only do you get to eat some of the most ridiculously bizaar foods in this world, without batting an eyelash at the concept of (other people) having frogs for breakfast and monkey brain for dinner, you get to put them on your face too!
A colleague brough for me a bunch of Skin Food masks from a recent trip to HK. The brand, Skin Food, is a Korean born company who stands by the motto of "Delicious Cosmetics Made of Delicious Foods"
Here are some of the "flavours" that will soon be making its way onto my face:

Myer shopping trip
A grocery run with mom turned into a 2hr Myer shopping trip instead. Sis bought a plain black t-shirt and a plain lilac t-shirt for $35 (SALE! We say, but $35 for t-shirts? Mom was horrified, citing "I can make these myself for $5!!!" such typicality for an Asian parent~~~)
As for me, the purchase decision came down to the following 2 dresses. I ended up only purchasing 1 of the 2. Any guesses which one I ended up picking? :p
Tokito
$63 after 30% off clearance discount
great for day/night wear
not so great for the office
had a cute back strap
Tokit
$89.95 new 2011 stock no discount
great for office
also suitable for evening wear
pink pink pink! <3

Stockings doth make thee sexier
I'm not sure when, but I think it was last year on a trip to Shanghai, when I fell head-over-heels in love with stockings. Or, more specifically, patterned stockings.
Before that, I'm more or less a non-stockings person. I remember in high school, even in the dead of Winter (and back then Winters in Sydney were still cold since global warming hasn't hit as hard), I would wear my school uniform skirt with no stockings and the standard white socks + black shoes (a definite fashion faux pas out of the school yard I must say!)
But since last year, I've discovered stockings to be the best piece of accessory to colour up a plain outfit. Not only that, the right pair of stockings can take your prettiest shoes to a whole new level. AND make your legs look a whole lot skinnier.

Vintage skirts, yes or no?
Gran came back from a trip to Beijing on the weekend...and besides getting me a gorgeous Coach bag (to be blogged later), bought me this very vintage skirt.
It's totally not my style to wear a) patterns like this, b) skirts of this length and c) skirts of this style (elastic waistebands and semi flowy from the bottom). But to make Gran happy, I wore it the entire day on Saturday (my sister called it major suck-up, I just think it's good EQ!).
And you know what? Said dress has really grown on me! I mean, paired with a really really simple, single coloured top, it not only looks quite nice, but is super comfy too. Not only that, a shopping trip to Myer brought forth the following conversation:
Me: omg I like this jacket! (picks up a purple suit jacket from Tokito)
Sis: omg Gran has one JUST LIKE IT~~~
Maybe (just maybe), I should go to Gran for some future fashion inspirations :)
